The 2011 Morristown Christmas Parade will be held on Thursday, December 1st starting at 7:00 PM .

All applications must be received by 5:00PM on Wednesday, November 23rd 2011 and you MUST have a representative present at the mandatory meeting on Monday Nov 28th in order to be in the parade. NO EXCEPTIONS

Theme for 2011 is
"A CHRISTMAS PAST"
(focus will be on historical Christmas's from yesteryears but not specific to any time period so if you want to dress your floats up in Bible times, medieval times, revolutionary war, civil war, 1920's 1940's or another time that will be great. Our goal is to have a wide variety to show how Christmas has been celebrated over the years)

The Morristown Christmas Parade is one of the largest annual events in the region and is attended by thousands of parade watchers and participants. The tradition has been going on through downtown Morristown for over 75 years and the Downtown Morristown Association is proud to be able to continue this heritage parade for the community. For 2011 the DMA is partnering with the Crossroads Main Street Program to put on the parade.
